Martin Consultancy (Enniskillen) working with Time Associates can again offer a number of bursaries supported by the Department for Employment and Learning for the NEW2Accelerate Programme. NEW2Accelerate is based on best practice and research into Leadership and Management drawing on range of innovative methods to facilitate different learning styles. The programme is about challenging behaviours and changing attitudes and perceptions. NEW2Accelerate is ideal development for: – An aspiring, new or inexperienced Manager – A Manager who has suffered from a lack of development in the past – A Manager who lacks motivation – A Manager who is feeling stressed or overburdened by the demands of managing people Various learning techniques are used to facilitate participant development including, group discussion, case study analysis, action learning, good practice experiences, and experience sharing. The programme is fully integrated from start to finish and offers participants an overall, seamless experience which leads ultimately to an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management. It will draw on a spectrum of learning resources to promote knowledge transfer and continuous professional development including ILM’s specialist digital learning resource, video seminars, expert e-learning modules and downloadable subject reviews.
The programme is delivered through 7, sharp half day sessions as follows: – Unleashing the potential within…the effective manager and team player – What type of Manager am I?…personality type and management style – Finding creative solutions to workplace problems…Action Learning Set 1 – The Fun-damentals of Leadership…inspiring, motivating and leading by example – Finding creative solutions to workplace problems…Action Learning Set 2 – Mastering change and leading difficult people…adapting, coping and handling performance issues – Finding creative solutions to workplace problems…Action Learning Set 3 The NEW2Accelerate offers the Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management and is delivered over 16 – 18 weeks from induction to the presentation of the participants’ workplace improvement at the final Action Learning Set.
The total cost of NEW2Accelerate starting in September – is £1,300.00 + VAT per participant. 50% funding is available from the Department for Employment and Learning for eligible participants within the Private Sector and Social Enterprises with less than 250 staff, making the net cost per participant £650.00 + VAT. Payment can be made in 3 stages of £250.00, £200.00 and £200.00 over the period of the 15 week programme. This covers all programme costs.
